Managing accounts
Keep checking, cards, PayPal, Etsy, and other accounts straight so uploads land in the right place.
Accounts is where you name the pots money moves through: checking, cards, PayPal, Etsy, and similar.
Why accounts matter
When you upload a statement, you assign it to an account. That keeps charges from one card from mixing into another.
Balances
Account balances reflect what Fern has stored from your uploads. They are not a live bank balance, because Fern does not connect to the bank.
Settings shortcut
Settings links to Accounts. Business name is also edited there.
